G.E. Mathis Company was recently contracted by an architectural firm to precision laser cut large metal panels. Composed of 0.25″ thick, A240-T304 stainless steel, the customer-supplied engineering drawing called out final dimensions of 63″ wide by 163″ tall including all interior cutouts. In addition, the customer required that we meet tolerances of ±0.015″ for the entire run of 91 pieces.

Our advanced, 6,000-watt laser is designed to cut to precision specifications; in the hands of our experienced technicians, we guarantee that the highest quality and exacting precision is met. After cutting the panels, the parts were ground and deburred.

This project was produced, from raw material to ready-to-install panels, in just two weeks. NIC Solutions supplied the stainless steel trellis frames that housed these panels.
